Idol José (Doral, FL)
Firma de alta costura, conocidos como los “médicos de la moda”, se han
convertido en el nuevo gran suceso del glamour internacional. Médicos de
profesión, el cirujano bucomaxilofacial Juan Francisco Cabello y el Neurólogo
Idolfredo Hernández, se han consolidado en las pasarelas internacionales gracias
a su irreverente y suntuosa visión de la moda. Con fastuosas participaciones en
las semanas de la moda de Miami, New York, Barranquilla (colombia) y República
Dominicana, la firma tiene presencia comercial en Santo Domingo (República
Dominicana), Florida (EEUU), Caracas y Puerto La cruz (Venezuela), London
(UK), Colombia y Puerto Rico. La propuesta avant garde que entremezcla la alta
costura y diseño innovador, lujoso y sofisticado con el ready to wear de la firma, la
convierte sin duda en la joya mejor guardada de la moda caribeña con alcance
internacional.
Rosita Hurtado (Miami, FL)
Designer Rosita Hurtado was born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, in 1982 she traveled to Paris, France and studied fashion design in Dominique, and later at Yocanda Atelier de Porto Alegre-Brasil. She also studied in London, and at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, in Florida, USA.
She has presented her collections on an international level and has shared the runwaywith designers such as Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Donna Karan, Alexander McQueen. She has received many recognitions and awards, including the 2009, Univision Networkaward presentation as one of seven “Heroes del Planeta”, for her “Ecologica” Line.
Two years ago she created the Ixoye line of casual, urban clothing for men and women, and through it expressing a cultural awareness of Latin American Countries, It is being recognized, on a global basis, for its originality while at the same time bringing attention to culturally and historically significant locations, personalities, and artifacts. Ixoye will be shown for the first in the United States on the Latino Fashion Week runway.
Rosita Hurtado is known for dressing many celebrities including Carlos Ponce, William Levi. Also, Eva Longoria in the film Carlitas Secret, Lucia Méndez, Gloria Trevi, Ximena Duque, Shaila Durcal, and many more have been dressed by the talented hands of this Bolivian designer.
Uuchben Textil & Antalika'a (Mexico)
Blanca Itza, founder of Úuchben Bordado Textil, draws inspiration from nature — especially bees — honoring them as symbols of beauty and ancestral connection to the land. Her work is known for reviving endangered textile techniques, creating pieces that weave together spirituality, identity, and the natural world.
Mildre Ramírez, founder of Antalika’a, leads a creative space where women embroider from tradition, recovering forgotten stitches to express their stories and collective memory. Through her work, she translates the cosmovision of her community into powerful textile narratives. Mildre has represented Mexico at the Latin American Impact Investing Forum (FLII) in Guatemala and Mexico, and showcased her work at Runway LatinX (October 2024) and Vancouver Fashion Week (Fall/Winter 2025).
Blanca and Mildre are outspoken advocates for cultural respect, the preservation of ancestral techniques, and creative collaboration across communities.
Their work is living history — and also a bold statement of future, innovation, and artistic expression.
